Bakels Singapore (Pte) Ltd or BSIN as it is known within the Group was first registered in Singapore in 1980, initially in a rented office in Wan Lee Road. As business flourished and expansion of the production plant was needed, operations moved to 65 Quality Road to house increased production and office facilities. BSIN remains at this site to this day, however production facilities were moved to Pasir Gudang in Johor Bahru and then to a bigger plant at Shah Alam in Selangor.
In 1998, BSIN was given a facelift, furbished offices, addition of a new temperature controlled storage facility and a new fully equipped test bakery.
